Since 2014 Hannah has managed the in house press at award-winning drum and bass label Ram Records, covering release campaigns for artists under their roster. Having previously worked as a freelance journalist, she has experience both pitching and covering music for different outlets, both in the mainstream and more niche media markets.
On top of a formidable events brand, hosting nights and extensive tours in both the US and Europe, Ram Records is no longer just at the very forefront of drum & bass but electronic music at large. As well as Ram Records, Hannah also oversees the press for sister-label Program, adapting an approach that appeals to the genre’s core audience.
Heading up online promotion for Ram’s recent albums, ranging from Bensley’s debut to Calyx & TeeBee’s second LP on the imprint, she’s followed artists’ progress over the years, from signing to the label to their first ever output.
From day to day, Hannah spearheads the online and print strategies, from a record’s announcement through to its release. Working alongside the radio and marketing team, she helps develop ways to deliver Ram’s music to a wider audience, whilst building and maintaining relationships across the press and understanding its changing platforms.
